1. Agreement of Service
By booking a relocation service with Rise India Packers & Movers, the customer agrees to the terms outlined in the quotation and these general terms and conditions. These terms apply to all domestic and local shifting services provided by the company.
2. Payment Terms
- Booking Amount: A token amount (usually 10-20%) is required to confirm the booking date and reserve logistical resources.
- Balance Payment: The remaining balance (including transit insurance and GST) must be paid at the time of loading or before the final delivery of goods, as specified in the quotation.
- Additional Charges: Extra charges may apply for unplanned services such as long-carrying, additional packing, or multiple drop-offs not mentioned in the original quote.
3. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for:
- Ensuring all delicate, valuable (jewelry, cash), and prohibited items (explosives, petroleum) are kept in their personal custody.
- Providing accurate inventory lists for the site survey.
- Obtaining necessary entry/exit permissions from Apartment/Society management (RWA).
4. Delivery Timelines
While we strive for on-time delivery, estimates are subject to traffic conditions, vehicle breakdowns, or "No-Entry" restrictions in certain cities (like Delhi). Rise India Packers & Movers will not be liable for minor delays due to such external factors.
5. Claims & Disputes
Any claims regarding damage or loss must be reported at the time of delivery before the "Goods Receipt" is signed. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Gurgaon, Haryana only.
